OHIO MFA students present work in a variety of studio art forms in “Fourteen Seconds” exhibit

OHIO’s School of Art + Design presents “Fourteen Seconds,” an exhibition of new work from second-year graduate student Master of Fine Arts candidates in the Ƶ Art Gallery from Oct. 22 to Nov. 8.

The public will have the opportunity to meet the artists in person at a reception from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 24, in the gallery, on the 5th floor of Seigfred Hall. This event is open to the public, and refreshments will be provided.

The exhibition will include a collection of works from the current second-year M.F.A. cohort, exploring different directions and demonstrating each artist’s progress in creative research. The exhibition will consist ​of a variety of ​projects featuring media and practice, including ceramics, photography, sculpture, printmaking, painting and design.

Participating artists include; Lalana Fedorschak, Ryan Embry, Emma Silverstein, Megan McCormick, Jon Ashcraft, Paige Greeley, Pylynne Myers, Bren Perez, Carmelo Amenta, Stephanie Spyker, Drew Svoboda, Yirong Zhuo, Shockley Traub and Connor Furr.

The Ƶ Art Gallery is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Thursday, and closed on Sunday.
