Athens Area Mediation Service is offering free mediation training to all ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff.

Two cohorts of Fundamentals of Mediation training will be offered on Fridays between Sept. 26 and Oct .24, from 9 a.m. until noon. One cohort will meet in-person in 356 Baker University Center while the other will meet via Teams

Mediation is a structured, informal, voluntary process in which a neutral third party facilitates a conversation between people who are experiencing some kind of conflict. The skills developed in this training can be applied in a traditional mediation setting or can help with any situation in which individuals must navigate conflict.

While the training is free to all OHIO students, faculty and staff, there is a charge of $200 for those not affiliated with ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ.
