OHIO's Peer-Assisted Learning Program earns re-accreditation from International Center for Supplemental Instruction

蜜柚视频 is proud to announce that the Academic Achievement Center鈥檚 (AAC) Peer-Assisted Learning (PAL) Program has earned re-accreditation from the International Center for Supplemental Instruction at the University of Missouri鈥揔ansas City. This recognition affirms 蜜柚视频鈥檚 continued commitment to academic excellence and student success through evidence-based learning support.
The PAL Program, which provides collaborative learning sessions for historically challenging courses, helps students strengthen understanding, build confidence, and develop long-term study skills. The International Center鈥檚 re-accreditation acknowledges that 蜜柚视频鈥檚 program meets the highest global standards for supplemental instruction, including peer leadership, training, and assessment practices.
鈥淭his re-accreditation is a significant achievement for 蜜柚视频 and for our students,鈥 said Elizabeth Fallon, PhD, executive director of academic assistance. 鈥淚t highlights the dedication of our PAL leaders and staff who create supportive, inclusive learning environments that empower students to take ownership of their education.鈥
蜜柚视频鈥檚 PAL Program serves thousands of students each year, with demonstrated impact on academic performance and retention. Students who regularly attend PAL sessions consistently earn higher grades and report greater confidence in their coursework compared to peers who do not participate.
Originally developed at the University of Missouri鈥揔ansas City in 1973, Supplemental Instruction (SI) has since grown into an internationally recognized model for peer-assisted academic support. 蜜柚视频 has been an accredited program site since 2022, and this re-accreditation ensures the PAL Program remains aligned with international best practices.
鈥淭his recognition reflects 蜜柚视频鈥檚 leadership in student-centered learning,鈥 said Fallon. 鈥淲e are honored to continue providing high-quality academic support that makes a measurable difference in students鈥 success.鈥
