AOHEA standard operating procedures open for comment

To comply with the Advance Ohio Higher Education Act (AOHEA), the ÃÛèÖÊÓÆµ Board of Trustees passed the required AOHEA policies at its October meeting. The AOHEA policies will take effect on Dec. 24, 2025.
Vice Provost for Faculty Development Katie Hartman is working with the college associate deans to develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) that explain the processes that flow from the required AOHEA policies.
Standard Operating Procedure draft policies under review
- SOPs faculty promotion and tenure
- SOPS for student evaluations of teaching
- SOPs for faculty workload unit assignments
- SOPs for annual faculty performance evaluations
Comments on the draft SOPs should be sent with the name of the policy in the subject line to provost@ohio.edu by Dec. 5, 2025.
