Join us at 蜜柚视频 Zanesville as we celebrate International Education Week! Throughout the week, OHIO Zanesville will join the Athens campus and the Global Affairs office in recognizing the University鈥檚 excellence in global education through research, teaching and hands-on learning. Our local events will highlight 蜜柚视频鈥檚 dedication to building a globally aware, culturally connected community.
This week-long celebration invites students, faculty, staff and community members to experience a variety of activities that showcase diverse perspectives and encourage meaningful cultural engagement. It is the perfect opportunity to explore new cultures, broaden your worldview, and connect with others on campus and beyond.
蜜柚视频 will celebrate International Education Week (IEW) from November 13鈥21, 2025, with this year鈥檚 theme, Global Workforce Readiness. This focus underscores the University鈥檚 commitment to preparing students for success in an increasingly interconnected world.

Flavors of the World brings together dishes from across the globe, showcasing the rich traditions, spices, and tastes that make each culture unique. From savory favorites to sweet indulgences, you will have the chance to sample, explore, and celebrate a variety of international cuisines, all in one unforgettable event.
This is more than just food. It is an experience of culture, community and connection.

Free and open to teens and adults
We will be discussing the book 鈥淭he Second Chance Convenience Store鈥 by Kim Ho-Yeon, set in South Korea. Enjoy South Korean teas and snacks while you broaden your reading horizons, learn about new teas, and meet new people.
The Sips & Stories Book Club meets once a month on the third Tuesday at 4 p.m. Each meeting features a new book and a tea pairing that complements the story.

Panama in Person

Come learn about the experience our students had studying abroad in Panama this summer. They will share details about what they did professionally and personally, including teaching in a local school and exploring the Panama Canal. Learn about other study abroad opportunities and why they believe every student should study away during their college years.
Iris Folding

Discover the beauty of Iris Folding, a captivating papercraft technique that originated in the Netherlands. Using carefully folded strips of colorful paper, you will learn how to create intricate, layered designs that form a striking spiral pattern resembling the iris of a camera or eye.
This hands-on workshop is perfect for beginners and craft enthusiasts alike. No prior experience is needed. By the end, you will have your own handmade artwork and the skills to continue exploring this elegant Dutch art form at home. All materials are provided. Just bring your creativity.

Join us for a special screening of 鈥淲ith Honors,鈥 a heartfelt story about friendship, resilience and the unexpected ways we learn life鈥檚 greatest lessons. Much like studying abroad, the film reminds us that true education often happens outside the classroom through experiences that challenge our assumptions, broaden our perspectives, and connect us with people from different walks of life.
