Alumni Association creates team to help students and alumni define their own meaning of success
One evening in May 2019, the normally quiet Athens City Council chambers were overflowing with citizens. Some stood in the hallway while others packed a nearby bar to watch the proceedings on the government channel. What brought so many passionate community members out on a Tuesday night? The answer, in a word: trash. Or to put a finer point on it鈥攚aste, waste diversion, and related jobs.
Dr. Linda Trautman, associate professor of political science at the 蜜柚视频 Lancaster Campus, has served on the faculty at OHIO since 2005 and teaches courses offered across the OHIO system, including graduate classes in Athens. Her areas of expertise include state and national legislative politics, electoral participation and voting behavior, and urban governance and American public policy.
