Mark Brewer has been with WOUB Public Media since 1999, serving as the General Manager since 2016.  His career has been spent serving communities through public media; first in west Texas, then in northern Minnesota, and finally to Athens, Ohio and ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ. His primary focus through the years has been in production, television programming and news which includes developing a nightly television newscast for a previously unserved population.  He is a three-time regional Emmy Award winner, a recipient of a CINE Golden Eagle Award and has played a role in helping many students at OHIO achieve their goals of launching their own media careers. Brewer holds a BA in Journalism and was a member in the first cohort to receive the Executive Master of Public Administration from ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ.
