Vicki Crooks, PhD.

Vicki Crooks, PhD., received her PhD. at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ, a master’s degree in communication as well as a master’s degree in educational policy and administration from Portland State University. She teaches classes on relational communication and speech. Because her foundational paradigm is stories, and her belief is that storytelling agility and creativity are important life skills, she always tries to include a section on stories and narrative resourcefulness in her classes. Her research interests and practice are in applied improvisation and experiential learning. As a member of the Applied Improvisation Network, she has had the opportunity to travel internationally for teaching and conferences. She is currently the Applied Improvisation Network’s Board President. She has 4 adult children and several adorable grandchildren, and after recently teaching out of state, she is very happy to be able to spend time at home with her husband, Greg, and to be back teaching at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ.
