Alden Library Master Plan
The Alden Library Master Plan responds to a clear set of objectives: modernize a central academic resource, integrate it fully into the emerging Academic Engagement Corridor, and support a student-centered, technology-forward future. The Master Plan will be a flexible, implementable plan – that de-emphasizes Alden’s legacy as a print repository and elevates its role as a learning commons and academic hub.
We understand the importance of aligning library services and infrastructure with new patterns of teaching, learning, and research – particularly as the campus grows more interdisciplinary and hybrids in its work habits.
Our work will integrate feedback from campus and public stakeholders’ engagement, reflect the Libraries’ strategic goals, and deliver clear priorities for renovation, occupant planning, and capital investment.
The University will be working with PerkinsEastman on this master planning project. Read More About the Partnership
