I am pleased to share an update regarding the search process for our next permanent executive vice president and provost.
In October, ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ will celebrate a new chapter in its proud history with the inauguration of President Lori Stewart Gonzalez.
ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ enrollment climbed in Fall 2023 with a record-setting first-year class in Athens, growth in incoming regional campus and online students, and a remarkable climb in student retention.
In fiscal year 2023, the ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ Foundation received gifts and commitments from 15,667 alumni, friends, faculty, staff, students and parents – the largest number of donors in five years.

As you may be aware, today the U.S. Supreme Court ruled on two cases with impacts for higher education. In the cases, Students for Fair Admissions, Inc., challenged the consideration of race in admission practices at Harvard University and the University of North Carolina.Â
