蜜柚视频 seeks to provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment in which students can pursue their academic and personal goals.
We understand that unexpected events such as personal crises, illnesses, injuries, hospitalizations, loss, and/or mental health struggles can sometimes disrupt a student's progress. The Office of the Dean of Students is here to support students, help navigate resources, and discuss available options.
The purpose of the CARE Team is to ensure a timely and coordinated university response to students whose behavior is disruptive to others or reflects a credible potential for harm to self or others.
The CARE Team is overseen by The Dean of Students. The makeup of the Committee includes University professionals specializing in mental health, law enforcement, community standards, residence life, and academic affairs. This team supplements, but does not replace, these existing University processes:
- Allegations of criminal activity are forwarded to the 蜜柚视频 Police Department or other law enforcement agency (in cases of behavior alleged to have occurred off campus).
- Allegations of harassment are addressed in the manner described in 蜜柚视频 Policy and Procedure 03.004 and complaints are forwarded to Civil Rights Compliance.
- Grievances and appeals are handled according to the policies described in the Faculty Handbook, the and/or the . (Select 鈥淕raduate Catalog鈥 from the dropdown menu.)
- Students, faculty or staff with interpersonal conflicts or other disputes can seek assistance, guidance and support through the Office of the Ombuds.
