    Ohio Adult Allies Podcast:

During my three years as an Undergraduate Research Scholar, I held various roles across multiple projects and events that enhanced my classroom learning and influenced my post-graduate decisions. Most of my work was with the COP-RCORP, Ohio Adult Allies, and CCIM4C initiatives. My daily tasks were highly variable, including assignments such as collaborating to create health education materials for communities to coordinating the scheduling, recording, and editing of three podcast episodes. This position also provided valuable connections for two internships with partner agencies and offered me the space, resources, and support to advance my credentials before graduation.

    Noel Rozic, BS

    Major: Biological Pre-Professional
    Minor: Chemistry
    Undergraduate Research Scholar 2022-2024

I am part of the Partnership for Community-Based Prevention team and did a research project on the feasibility of implementation of QPR at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ within the pre-professional clubs. QPR is an evidence-based gatekeeper suicide prevention training program, and a gatekeeper is not just someone who knows about a topic, it is somebody who knows and can act. QPR not only teaches the recipients about suicide but how to prevent suicide. And QPR stands for Question, Persuade, Refer. Within this project, I researched other gatekeepers, specifically suicide prevention training programs, and how it was received between general college students, medical students and physicians.

I was a student employee from December of 2022, (although I started closer to January of 2023) to May of 2024! I graduated OU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology, plus a certificate in Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies.
