The Religious Studies minor provides students with a broad understanding of how religion shapes and reflects human experience across cultures and history. The minor requires a minimum of 15 credit hours, including foundational courses, electives, and a capstone experience that allows students to apply their knowledge in a focused area of interest.
A minor in religious studies is especially attractive to students entering graduate programs in international studies, journalism, politics, and business at ÃÛèÖÊÓƵ or elsewhere. It is also of value to graduates entering the Peace Corps or working as counselors and therapists, among other professions.
